I visited London in 2005 & 2006 for business, but since it was somewhere I had never been before I had to take my camera. When I had some downtime, I decided to walk around & take in the sights. While crossing this side street, this image is what I saw. The image was taken on 35mm, black & white film & processed with a sepia tone. The image will be a giclee print on archival, watercolor paper.
Photography has always been a passion of mine, ever since I received my first camera at the age of 11. In 2000 I decided to pursue my passion and work as a photographer for a living. Mostly I shoot portraiture, but have always enjoyed and still do enjoy shooting landscapes, nature, travel and still life. My style of shooting is very relaxed because I prefer the candid over the posed. When I shoot nature or landscapes, I don't necessarily go "looking" for something to shoot, per se. What I want to shoot presents itself to me. The subject will determine whether I process my images in color or black and white. Black and white tends to tell more of a story, but color shows the natural beauty and boundless colors in nature. I feel that...
